SPECIFIC VEHICLE ALARM FITTING INSTRUCTIONS REV. 00 www.cobra.it MAKE ALFA ROMEO MOD. GTV YEAR. 99 fi PETROL DIESEL X ALARM/SIREN POSITION Position the compact alarms and the sirens in the engine compartment, near the shock absorber, driver’s side. Pass the cables through the original rubber sleeve located on the right in the windshield wiper, driver’s side. CENTRAL UNIT POSITION Position the modular systems and the modules under the dashboard, driver’s side. POWER SUPPLY + 30: connect to the 4 mm 2 RED wire located in the multiway connector in the fuse box. - 31: connect with a cable terminal directly to the car body. IGNITION WIRE + 15/54: connect to the 1 mm 2 LIGHT BLUE/RED wire located in the wiring harness behind the sill cover, driver’s side. DIRECTION INDICATORS Connect to the LIGHT BLUE and LIGHT BLUE/BLACK wires located in the wiring harness behind the sill cover, driver’s side. ELECTRIC WINDOWS Controls with mixed polarity Front window, driver’s side: cut the 2 mm 2 VIOLET/YELLOW wire located in the wiring harnes coming out of the door, driver’s side. Front window, passenger’s side: cut the 2 mm 2 WHITE/GREEN and GREEN/BLACk wires located on the coming out of the door, driver’s side. Refer to diagram nr.117 . CENTRAL DOORS LOCKING Negative control signal Connect to the 1 mm 2 WHITE wire (unlock) and BLUE wire (lock) located in the wiring harness coming out of the door, driver’s side. IMMOBILISATION POINT Fuel pump Cut the 1,5 mm 2 VIOLET/BLACK wire located in the 2 way connector of the inertial switch, behind the bulkhead, driver’s side. STARTER +50: Cut the 3 mm 2 VIOLET/BLACK wire located in the wiring harness coming out of the connector of the ignition key. BONNET SWITCH Connect to the 1 mm 2 WHITE/BLACK wire located in the wiring harness coming out of the 2 way connector, driver’s side. DOORS SWITCH Connect to the 1 mm 2 GREY/YELLOW wire located in the wiring harness behind the sill cover, driver’s side. BOOT SWITCH Connect to the 1 mm 2 PINK/BLACK wire located in the wiring harness behind the sill cover, driver’s side. B diagram • The wire of a motor has a negative polarity at rest that becomes positive operating the control on closing, the other motor has both the wires with positive polarity at rest (Motor 1). C diagram • Both the wires of the motors (Motor 1 and Motor 2) have a positive polarity at rest. ATTENTION: the wires must be cut complying with the controls towards the motor and the switch.
